The members of the Public Union "Ukrainian National Agrarian Forum", which includes leading agricultural associations, held a number of meetings with representatives of the German authorities and took part in a reception at the German embassy.

At these events, Director Public Union "Ukrainian National Agrarian Forum" Mariia Didukh and of member of the Union’s Board, General Director of the Association "Ukrainian Agribusiness Сlub" Taras Vysotskiy held a meeting with the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to Ukraine Mr. Ernst Reichel and Parliamentary Secretary of the Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture of Germany, Michael Stübgen. The German side was also attended by the head of the German-Ukrainian Agricultural Policy Dialogue - Volker Sasse and employees of the German Agrarian Center.

During the meetings, important issues of the agrarian sector of Ukraine, political challenges that exist, as well as cooperation of Ukraine and Germany in the agricultural sector, in the field of trade, investment, education and a number of other issues important for the future work of both countries were discussed.

“German-Ukrainian cooperation in the agrarian sphere is very close. Today, the 15th meeting of the Ukrainian-German Agricultural Committee was held. It is clear to everyone that for Ukraine the development of agriculture is very important. It’s no secret that it has become one of the most important export sectors for your country, ”said Ambassador Ernst Reichel.
